I’m absolutely over the moon with my purchase, and I want to say thank you for taking the time to develop something like this. I’m a long-time fountain pen user, writer, and art hobbyist. I was always frustrated that I loved writing with fountain pens, but I could never find one that produced the effects I wanted in drawing. The Metis with an 0.8 tip and a converter to take my favorite iroshizuku inks is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for. I’ve used it so much since I got it, I’m going to have to order more ink very soon. I find myself sketching even more throughout the day because the effect of using this pen is so pleasant and satisfying. 🙂

A stunning advance for those of us who love to use felt tips, but not encased in plastic. I prefer a more professional looking pen, and one with weight. I have used a stunning fountain pen, but tired of the mess, leaking, and issues when flying — as pressurization can wreak havoc with the ink, causing (again)leakage. I have the Grid Metis pen and use green ink as an homage to my grandmother — who always used a green ink fountain pen until her death at 101 in the 1970s.. (TMI) My only caveat is that the delivery of said product could be described by the vendor better. I will do that for you now. The pen and accoutrements come from Hong Kong. Thus, if living in the USA as I do, expect it to take 20 to 30 days to arrive.. They ship with tracking through USPS. You can therefore ask them for the tracking number — but expect a long pause between shipping and when it finally hits Stateside. Other than that, all was excellent and I am going to order more nibs to have on hand should I need a finer point.

Excellent pen. I only found the delicate fiber tip. I have been using it for a few months and 0.8 has completely returned. I am forced to buy a new one if I want to continue using the pen

Hi Andrea ! Thanks for your message ! the 0.8 is the most fragile and should be handled with a light hand 😉 You might want to switch to a 1.0 instead !
