Storing YOOKERS ink cartridges
Spare ink and cartridges behave best when they stay sealed, labeled, and out of strong light. This note is for customers who keep a small stock at the studio or in a desk drawer between orders.
For the full catalog and color names, start from the YOOKERS home page, then open the ink section. The tips below focus on storage only, not on mixing brands inside one converter.
1. Keep factory seals intact
Leave foil or plastic wraps on cartridges until you load them. A torn seal lets solvent creep out slowly and can dry the nib feed the first time you write.
2. Store upright in a cool box
Stand cartridges on the closed end inside a shallow tray so they do not roll under heat vents. Room temperature is fine, but avoid sunny windowsills and car dashboards where plastic can soften.
If you move pens between bags, keep spare cartridges in a small zip pouch so lint from fabric does not clog the mouth of the shell. That habit pairs well with the fiber tip overview when you are swapping modules after a long trip.
3. Track open bottles
Glass bottles for piston converters should stay tightly capped. Write the month you opened the bottle on the label so older stock gets used first.
